The battles are over and the villains have been turn back. At last I am able to turn my attention to the voice that echo within my soul. I mount my stead and ride in the direction of the beckoning.

My heart pounds as the adrenaline still flows through my veins. Pushing my stead hard I close the gap of the distant calling. For a day and a night I travel hastily toward my destination, still not quite sure where it is I am being lead. Exhaustion dulls my senses and I feel lost in the world. The memories of the battles cloud my vision as I try to remember why I was there. What were these evil creatures to me I asked? Why should I care?

My stead bolts toward a large forest nearly losing me as it crashes through harsh terrain. Just as I am sure I can carry on no further my faithful stead slows to a gallop and I feel a magic spell surround me. No longer do I feel the exhaustion of my body and despair in my heart. Peace fills me and my body becomes rested . Even my clothes are cleansed of the dust and signs of battle. My senses become alive once again and I know my destination is near. I feel eyes upon me coming from the ridge ahead. The source of the magic spell that is surrounding me radiates from those eyes. I know now what the calling is and peace settles within. No need to look for only one can have such power over me. I remember now why the battles were won and why I should care. Once again there is peace and I smile within. For I know that I will see those magic eyes shine as we stand face to face. Thank thee My Lady for putting your magic spell around me and giving me meaning and life once again.

Soon I shall be home
